Anahola Bay has to be the best all around beach on Kauai. Located on the north east side of the island Anahola Bay has something for everyone. The center of the bay is a beautiful sand bottom beach perfect for boogie boarding, bodysurfing, or playing in the waves. At the east end of the bay is a shallow and calm cove that is perfect for children or adults not comfortable in the ocean. Anahola Bay, like most beaches on the island, doesn’t have a lifeguard on duty. Please follow the following tips to help insure a safe day at the beach. NEVER SWIM ALONE AT ANY BEACH!! NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO GO INTO THE WATER WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION!!! ALWAYS TAKE SOME FORM OF A FLOATION DEVICE TO THE BEACH IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. A BOOGIE BOARD IS A GOOD OPTION!!! NEVER SWIM IN ROUGH WATER!!!
